I hope everyone is keeping warm and dry. The nights are drawing in ever earlier. I have been busy. Parchment craft and scrapping this time. first scrapping, the first page is of my good self. Photo was taken by my granddaughter before we left to go to my birthday meal. I wanted the papers to look like a cake. The 65 was on top of the real birthday cake my daughter Karen made for me so were the candles. I HAD SUCH A GREAT BIRTHDAY. I was sent to Disney Paris by my family, and spending that time with family was amazing. Go people go! to Disney its pure magic, you can't help but feel it and smile all the time you are there.
Below Emoji papers are used. This is son in law Marc at Disney USA having fun with the Simpsons.
Now the first of Disney Paris pages. The Princesses. I used a paper by Scrapberry and their Juliet collection. I added a jeweled branch and hung charms from the branch.I also used a 3d Cinderella and some extra flowers.Behind the photos I used some tulle in blue. The light blue perspective is from Bramblefox. They are so light to use, easy to glue and make excellent additions to pages. And they are a very reasonable price and they are adding to their collections all the time. check them out at www.bramblefox.co.uk there will be heaps more pages from my trip in later posts. So watch this space! or blog! LOL
I have added to close up of that prospective and the branch and charms. You can see the tulle and 3d item too. The tulle is very delicate and just right for a princesses page.
Parchment. Christmas and lessons. The lantern is a new design by Judith Maslen. The bauble is a older pattern from a old version of Parchment craft magazine. the bauble could be removed from the card and hung on a tree.
Close up of the bauble. coloured in blendable pencils.
Last of all a free pattern by Adele Griffins. Traced in pearlized ink and embossed.
So, that is all I have to show you this post.I hope you like what you see. I love crafting I find it relaxing. So, remember to spread the love, smile and give a helping hand where needed if you are able..everyone needs someone! Until next post.. byeeeeeeee
I love the snowflakes - what pearlised ink did you use? x
ReplyDeleteHello Maria any brand will do. I used a ink by PI but they have stopped making so much now that Clarity have taken over
Delete.
you could use a white pearlized ink with a little blue added to it and mixed together.
DeleteBeautiful work as ever Lynn! I can't wait to see more of your Disney pages...What memories you must have, and all just waiting to be put into your scrapping!! I remember making a card with a removable bauble for Dad's last Christmas - it was nice to see that one again!
